London - The Bees Awards have revealed their esteemed 2011 jury panel members, including Saatchi & Saatchi Worldwide's Digital Creative Director, Tom Eslinger. The event will once again award winners in over 23 specialized categories, including 8 new categories in the fast paced social media marketing world. The ceremony will be held at the Legion of Honor in San Francisco on May 3, 2011 at 7pm and will be live-streamed over the Internet.
One-fifth of the planet is using social media platforms. That new reality calls for a new expertise. The 2011 Jury is composed of respected professionals from 15 different countries. These professionals have been selected on the basis of their expertise, the references they received from peers, their passion for social media and their geographic location. Together, they will honour the best social media marketing practices, define standard practices and establish the greatest ethics for the long term growth of the profession.
Tom Eslinger commented: "I'm very keen to be involved with The Bees Awards this year. At Saatchi & Saatchi, we've always believed that the ideas people want to share and participate in, are the ones that create the most buzz, loyalty and Lovemarks. Some of our most memorable work, most recently, T-Mobile's ‘Life's for Sharing' campaigns, and Toyota's Sienna ‘Swagger Wagon' and ‘Auto-Biography', have put people and what they say, make and do at the centre of the experience, which is what I'm looking for on The Bees Awards jury. Saatchi & Saatchi Los Angeles was The Bees Award Agency of the Year last year, and I'm proud to represent us in this cool, relevant, emerging competition."
Bastien Beauchamp, co-Founder and President of The Bees Awards commented: "Saatchi & Saatchi Los Angeles won the title of Agency of The Year at the last edition of The Bees Awards. The honour goes to the individuals in the team, and also to the agency's culture which enables excellence to happen. Saatchi & Saatchi has a proven record of innovation and excellence in many areas of expertise and over a period of decades. The Bees Awards are honoured to have an expert such as Tom Eslinger on the jury. Excellence is an attitude that technology can't create by itself."
