Torrance, CA - Saatchi & Saatchi Los Angeles announced today that Scott Huebscher has been promoted to Creative Director. In addition to driving the interactive concept for key client Toyota Motor Sales, he will continue to oversee design for Toyota.com and other related interactive advertising, including interactive media and emerging technology.
Huebscher, 36, was previously Associate Creative Director. He joined the agency in June 2006. He was instrumental in the recent re-launch of Toyota.com, which features a new look and feel, streamlined navigation, robust new shopping tools and lifestyle content. Additional highlights at Saatchi include the new Toyota Sequoia Experience Site [www.toyota.com/sequoia], which introduces the all-new "Anything But Ordinary" SUV through video travelogues of families with unusual passions. Huebscher also oversaw the Toyota Tundra Experience Site. The video-heavy site [www.toyota.com/tundra] follows men as they use the full-size truck in real-world scenarios, such as towing boats and hauling lumber.
"Digital is a core medium, and sitting inside a full-service agency enables the digital team to create more innovative, integrated ideas," said Huebscher. "I'm excited to play a part in leading the creative team through more successful projects for our clients."
Prior to Saatchi & Saatchi, Huebscher held positions in design and copywriting at jUXT Interactive, RPA, Xavor and Bates USA West. Previous brand experience includes Coca Cola, Honda, Hyundai, Pioneer, Pacific Sunwear, Boost Mobile and FuseTV. He has worked on numerous award winning campaigns, achieving Gold and Silver Effies and a Webby People's Voice Award.
"Scott is the model of true collaboration," said Harvey Marco, Executive Creative Director, Saatchi & Saatchi LA. "He's a natural leader whose creative vision and imagination will help the agency continue to push the envelope."
