Prague - What would you dare to do for the one you love? At advertising agency Saatchi & Saatchi, they decided to find out what Czechs and Slovaks are like in this respect. For their client Milka, to mark the occasion of St. Valentine's Day, they have created a Facebook app where couples can exchange more or less serious promises and compete for the honour of being named the couple most in love within Czech Republic and Slovakia.
'I will spend more time with you than with guys at football,' the men promise and the ladies add: 'I won't make you go shopping with me.' Hardcore girls get rid of their crazy hairdos and take off their biker jackets when visiting the mother-in-law, managers work up the courage to exchange their business secrets, office or company capital for a lifetime commitment. These and similar promises are made, and participants can choose from a selection of characters to 'put words into the mouth of'. Then just upload a photo, send the promise to your other half and wait for the response!
There are no limits to inventiveness, so everyone can come up with their own promise. The goal is not only to overcome your own boundaries for the one you love, but also to entertain your friends on Facebook. Users can vote for the most original declaration, and the couple with the highest number of votes becomes the couple most in love in Czech Republic and Slovakia and wins a trip to Paris. The other participants receive a romantic dinner or a piece of Swarovski jewellery.
The competition was launched on 23rd January and will run until 12th February. The couple most in love from both countries will be announced on the Valentine's Day, 14th February of this year.
The Facebook app will be supported with online banners.
