London - Saatchi & Saatchi has launched Eighty, a fully integrated design agency offering end-to-end design strategy and creative execution across multiple media. The name stems from Saatchi & Saatchi London's iconic 80 Charlotte Street address.
Specialising in design, art direction, brand Identity systems and their practical implementation in client communications, Eighty's core portfolio of services include brand identity, guidelines, logo development, brand books, user experience and information architecture.
Eighty is headed by Steve Davies, Design Director, Dave Dawkins, Operations Director, and Andy Bell, Commercial Director, all of whom work at Saatchi & Saatchi. They will lead a core team of 8 designers and 2 technologists, supported by brand strategists and creatives from within Saatchi & Saatchi.
Davies said: "The team at Eighty will work across disciplines from the inception of the brief, to delivery, we maintain full creative control to offer clients fully integrated solutions that have creativity and design excellence at their core."
Andy Bell said: "The Eighty skill set of high level design and great technology, backed by an agency like Saatchi & Saatchi, gives us both the flexibility of a start-up and the deep resources of an established creative business."
Kate Stanners, Creative Partner Saatchi & Saatchi commented: "We are particularly passionate about the role of identity in changing the relationships people have with brands, and in helping to create real love for those brands. We've had a long held ambition to offer current and new clients a full service design offering at the heart of the agency."
All of Eighty's design output will be supported by technical expertise at all touch points to achieve a right first time approach.
Dawkins said:"We are already in conversations with existing Saatchi & Saatchi clients and external prospects, and I see tremendous growth opportunities for the business over the next year."
Current projects in development include UK Jewish Film, User Voice, Kerry Foods and The Arms Deal, for which the agency will develop and execute a selection of brand identity, guidelines and design across integrated media channels.
