Torrance, CA - Saatchi & Saatchi LA has announced that it is adding the award-winning team of Chris Adams and Margaret Keene to its creative ranks. As executive creative directors, Adams and Keene will lead the agency's 74-member creative group.
The duo joins the agency from TBWA/Chiat/Day, Los Angeles, where they have spent a combined 34 years, most recently making their mark as group creative directors leading Nissan North America and Pedigree globally.
Previous work at Chiat-where Adams and Keene have been working as partners for the past eight years-includes Apple, Levi's, Taco Bell, Earthlink, Shutterfly, PUR Water Filters, Singapore Airlines, Whiskas and LeapFrog. On Apple, they worked on the famous "Think different" campaign as well as the recent iTunes campaign for The Beatles.
"Margaret and Chris exhibit the collaborative style and creative pedigree essential to generating transformational ideas. They are the leaders we need to deliver great work for Toyota and partner in our new business efforts," said Chuck Maguy, president, Saatchi & Saatchi LA.
One of Adams' and Keene's most gratifying professional efforts includes raising millions of dollars for shelter dogs via The Pedigree Adoption Drive. The campaign has garnered national media attention and resulted in the three most successful sales periods in Pedigree's history-along the way, raising more than $4 million for shelters. It was also honored with two gold Effies, one global Effie and is currently being deployed in 27 countries around the world.
"We're incredibly excited to be joining the Saatchi & Saatchi LA family. They are wonderful people and Toyota is one of the world's best brands," said Adams. "They've built something really special, and we are thrilled to have the opportunity to come in and help write the next chapter," added Keene.
Career awards include Cannes Lions, Communication Arts, D&AD, The One Show, Clio's, The Kelly Awards, Obies (two Best of Shows), The New York Art Director's Club (Best of Show), The Effie Awards (three gold Effies, bronze global Effie), and the $100,000 Grand Kelly (which they donated to The Pedigree Adoption Drive). Both have also served as judge at The One Show.
