Dubai, UAE - Saatchi & Saatchi Dubai has appointed Richard Copping to the role of Executive Creative Director. Copping will be responsible for the creative leadership of the agency, working on key clients including ADCB, Arla Foods, General Mills, Kraft Foods, Lenovo, Mall of the Emirates, P&G, RTA and more.

Previously, Copping was Regional Creative Director of Ogilvy and Mather Asia Pacific and member of the Ogilvy Regional Creative Council. During his time there he worked with Ogilvy offices in Shanghai, Beijing, Japan, Sri Lanka, Cambodia, Hong Kong and Sydney focusing on new business, key brands and elevating the creative offering of the agency in the region.
Copping has over 15 years of experience in the industry, 12 of which were spent in Asia. He worked at Saatchi & Saatchi's flagship office in Singapore, during which time the agency won many awards and accolades, including Campaign Brief Asia's Creative Agency of the Year. The agency also won Creative Agency of the Year, awarded by Gunn Report and Campaign Asia separately. In 2008, Copping was also Creative Director of the Year and the number one Creative in Asia Pacific.
Copping has also worked at BBDO and Bates in Singapore and JWT London. He has created award-winning work for global brands such as Sony Ericsson, Heineken and ESPN. His work has been widely awarded including at Cannes, D&AD, Clio and The One Show.
