The hugely successful "Battle for the Babies" campaign from Saatchi & Saatchi Serbia has won a Cresta award. The campaign to get more and modern incubators in hospitals for babies, won the award in the Integrated Category. The win follows on from two silvers at The Golden Drum Awards at the beginning of October.
Veljko Golubovic, Executive Creative Director of Saatchi & Saatchi in Belgrade said: "This is a great reward for all people involved in the campaign and great satisfaction for all our efforts to help little heroes. Once again we proved to ourselves that nothing is impossible for Saatchi no matter how small an office you are".
"Battle for the Babies" was launched with the aim of raising funds for 100 incubators in poorly equipped Serbian hospitals. The 40 year-old incubators were severely outdated, resulting in an over 60% death rate for babies. People were invited to join the battle and fight together. More than 700 companies and 1 million people supported the campaign which raised funds for 195 incubators, amounting to €2,600,000 and covering the needs of the entire country.
