Bucharest - Spring brings new surprises for Enel's clients. Together with Saatchi & Saatchi Romania, Enel encourages clients to become environmentally friendly by choosing the electronic bill instead of the traditional one.
Enel's efforts in sustainable development and innovation are summed up by a modern and efficient solution. Clients have the possibility to receive their invoice online, through the platform MyEnel which can be accessed by creating an account and which is similar to an electronic desk available non-stop for Enel clients. Each of the first 50 000 clients who choose the electronic bill, will be awarded with a green gift: a "thank you" note printed on flower-seeded paper, ready to be planted and to grow into flowers.
"I'm very proud and excited we managed to make this project happen. It's one of those ideas you immediately recognize as being potentially great but the next step is to get it past the client. Fortunately for us, the client showed great courage and accepted it, which ended up being sent out to 50.000 households in Bucharest," said Johan Ohlson, Creative Director, Centrade Saatchi & Saatchi. "Romania hasn't experienced the ecological transformation yet and green projects are quite rare, which further underlines the importance of this campaign. Enel is now in the position of becoming a market leader and a trend setter in this category which is great news because it will catch on very soon."
"The campaign was a real success and the result we had was beyond expectations. Tens of thousands of clients chose the electronic bill and we wish to thank all of them in an innovative way," said Aurelian Sideri, Marketing Manager, Enel Romania. "The campaign is actually our ‘thank you' to those who joined us in protecting the environment. The seeded paper is to encourage and promote responsible attitude towards the environment."
