Zurich - Swisscom is the main sponsor of Swiss Ski. Goal of the sponsoring communication this winter, was to fire up the Swiss fans for snow sports and give them the tools to show and live their enthusiasm. After all there are over three million people in Switzerland next to our ski stars, that actively enjoy winter sports as a pastime.
Saatchi & Saatchi Switzerland has strategically aligned the communication of Swisscom to make them the animator of enthusiasm when it comes to winter sports in Switzerland. This was creatively realised in an all-round campaign with the motto 'fan bell'.
The oversize, typically Swiss cowbell was emotionally showcased on TV, in print, on posters and on location at several big races. The fan bell also is used at the POS and in several VIP-measures. The shooting naturally took place in Graubünden, the canton home to the largest part of the Swiss Alps.
Saatchi & Saatchi's idea of a fan cowbell app for mobile devices made impact. Up until today the app has been downloaded 70'000 times. And all smartphone users together have already chimed their virtual cowbells more than 600 million times in total.
