Bucharest - Romstal, one of the largest Romanian heating & plumbing equipment distributors, is the new partner of the ‘Days of Hope' campaign, a Samusocial and Centrade Saatchi & Saatchi initiative to raise public awareness on the problems facing homeless people, particularly during winter time.
Romstal decided to join this campaign, helping to increase exposure of the cause by posting two banners on their website www.romstal.ro, and by promoting the campaign on all their social media channels. Additionally, the Romanian company agreed to put the campaign sticker on the cardboard packaging used for their deliveries. Thus, when a heating system is delivered, the customer can read on the cardboard box the Samusocial message: "This could be the home of a homeless person. Donate and help them through the winter."
"We chose to support this campaign by promoting it to our customers. We hope that homeless people will receive a little more warmth through the Days of Hope campaign."
Romstal website visitors are encouraged to donate a small amount for homeless people, assisted by Samusocial, so that with each donation homeless people get one more chance of surviving the cold season.
With the money received from donations, Samusocial Romania can ensure shelter for homeless people for a fixed period of time, can pay the fees for renewing identity documents, the costs for emergency surgery not covered by the public health system, or treatments for cases of illness and mental disorder.
