New Toyota Campaigns from Saatchi & Saatchi Sydney

Sydney - Two new Toyota campaigns were launched in Australia this week by Saatchi & Saatchi Sydney: 'Unbreakable' for the new HiLux, and 'Some Things in Life Can Wait' for RAV4.

Unbreakable

Saatchi & Saatchi has unveiled yet another iconic piece of ‘unbreakable' advertising for the new-look Toyota HiLux. The campaign launched during the AFL & NRL footy finals on Sunday 18th September.

For most drivers, the HiLux is more than just a car. It's a trusty workmate and a reliable friend they share many precious moments with. This 90-second TVC shot in Christchurch by Adam Stevens from Robbers Dog tells a story about one particular bromance between man and metal, it's a brotherhood that will never be broken because the only thing more unbreakable than the bond between man and HiLux, is the New-Look HiLux itself.

The 60" TVC launched on Sunday 18th September, and will be supported by a 30" TVC. An extended 90" will live online. The TVC will be supported with an extensive print, outdoor and online schedule.

John Foley, CEO of Saatchi & Saatchi comments: "We're immensely proud of continuing the Unbreakable HiLux legacy and ensuring that HiLux's rightful place as Australia's No. 1 Ute is maintained."

Some Things in Life Can Wait

The latest campaign for Toyota RAV4, entitled ‘Some things in life can wait', also went to air on Sunday 18th September.

This campaign stems around the thought of the age-old expectation that is placed on SINKS (Single Income No Kids) and particularly SINKS in their thirties. When are you going to have kids? When are you going to have kids? (usually perpetuated by mothers and mother-in-laws). But no one likes to be told what to do and when to do it. You'll do what you want when you're good and ready. Luckily, there's a vehicle that thinks the same. The vehicle that itself went against expectations and did things its own way: the original SUV, the RAV4. Some things in life can wait.

The campaign consists of 3 x 30" TVC's launching on Sunday 18th September. The TVC will be supported with an extensive print, outdoor and online schedule.

John Foley, CEO of Saatchi & Saatchi comments: "In a category driven by cliched imagery, RAV 4 has tapped into a mindset that transcends all ages and has popular appeal for the pioneer of the SUV category."
