Buenos Aires - Del Campo Saatchi & Saatchi was the most awarded Iberoamerican agency with 6 CLIO statues, winning the only argentine Gold with Sony Cybershot. The performance was completed with two Silver awards and two Bronze for "Famous Pictures" (Sony Cybershot) and for "Dads in briefs" (BGH Silent Air).
"The campaign ‘Famous Pictures' for Sony Cybershot was the exact work that we presented to win the account. So it's great to end the myth that pitches are won with mediocre works. On the other side, ‘Dads in briefs', for our client BGH, is a clear example that a local brand, with a low budget, can also have great campaigns," commented Maxi Itzkoff, ECD of the agency with Mariano Serkin.
"Both awards reflect the reality of the agency, with a local and international focus at the same time. But they also reflect the client's reality. None of these campaigns were tested. And none of these two clients asked us to work in a second option to compare. When the confidence (from the client) and the desire to do a good work (from the agency) find each other, there are always excellent results and only one winner: the brands," added Itzkoff.
