Los Angeles - Leading industry trade publication Advertising Age has named Conill among its list of "10 Standout Shops" of 2012 in its annual Agency A-List report, published today. This is the second year in row that Conill earned this distinction from the publication.
According to Advertising Age, agencies that were selected for this list impressed editors with:
- Smart, innovative work that's boosting clients' business
- Being new-business stars
- Serving as a model of overall financial health
In its coverage (available at http://adage.com/article/special-report-agency-alist-2013/line-10-standout-advertising-agencies/239362/), the publication applauded Conill's robust business performance, nontraditional marketing solutions and work beyond Spanish language.
"It's always gratifying to be recognized alongside some of the best players in the industry," said Conill President Carlos Martinez. "2012 was a year of successful transformation for us. We made important advances in our strategic direction, added incredible talent and upped our investment in consumer insights. We're in a great place to help clients connect with consumers in a rapidly changing marketplace."
Conill's 2012 performance was fuelled by the addition of Kraft and Aflac to its client roster, several new client projects and expanding most of its existing client businesses. It also earned accolades at several creative festivals, including The One Show, Clio Awards, Mercury Awards, USH Idea Awards, El Ojo de Iberoamerica and Caribe.
