Miami - Conill, the Saatchi & Saatchi Network's 'Latino Ideas Company', has enjoyed a good month at the award shows.
At the Association of National Advertisers (ANA) Multicultural Excellence awards held recently in Boca Raton, Florida, Conill and their client Toyota were among the five award winners. They took the grand prize in the "Campaign with Significant Results" category for their Toyota Yaris campaign, and earned an honourable mention in the same category for Toyota Camry.
The 'Hispanic' category also brought the agency an honourable mention for their work for Procter & Gamble's Tide.
This is the second year in a row that Conill has been honoured by the ANA. Last year, they won the Multicultural Grand Prix along with Procter & Gamble for their work on Tide.
Conill CEO Cynthia McFarlane said, "It is always terrific to be recognized for the work that we do. It is particularly gratifying for that recognition to come from the client-side marketing community."
The agency also took home six awards during the Association of Hispanic Advertising Agencies 23rd Semi-Annual conference held in New York City.
The tally included four Advertising Age Hispanic Creative Advertising Awards (a Gold and a Silver for Tide, an interactive Silver for Toyota Yaris Music Lab and a Bronze for Mundo Yaris), and two HispanicAd.com Account Planning Excelencia (HAPE) awards (Gold for Toyota Camry-ality and Bronze for Tide Sabe).
