Caracas - In a win-win relationship the prestigious Venezuelan advertising agencies AW Nazca Saatchi & Saatchi and Oveja Negra have merged, confident of the opportunities that arrive in the most difficult of times, placing their stakes on growth and on offering an increase in the quality and quantity of their work to their clients. Led by a talented team, AW Nazca with 33 years in the business and Oveja Negra with 7 years of work recently undertook a fusion under the name of AW Oveja Negra Saatchi & Saatchi, with the motto: “More Saatchi than ever”.
Gloria Chibás, CEO at AW Nazca Saatchi & Saatchi, explained that the merger has become effective immediately, with the integration of the agencies' workforces into the AW Nazca offices at the Torre Aba in Las Mercedes, Caracas. “It will take some time to optimize our infrastructure, but work has already begun as one agency.”
Oveja Negra CEO, Rodrigo Núñez, says the merger came about in the context of “love at first sight,” when having met Gloria Chibás they found they shared many similarities between the ethic, work philosophy, and mystique of both businesses.
Chibás is positive that in times of change, such as Venezuela is going through, strategic alliances, unions and fusions bring new energies to businesses in order to reinitiate with stamina the arduous task of advertising in the present times. “We will not stick to traditional media; we will implement SISOMO international philosophy; from now on we will exploit the initiative of having our ideas known on every screen, computer and cell phone, because all that moves can be seen and heard,” she added.
With the intention of winning, being better, bringing in new clients, being more aggressive and attractive in the market, AW Oveja Negra Saatchi & Saatchi begins its work integrating a team that breaks paradigms and goes beyond conventional advertising. “With this fusion, evaluating the marketability, purpose and value of our work, we will place ourselves among the main agencies in the country. Now, more than ever, we will do our best as professionals. We will be more Saatchi than ever.”
