Buenos Aires - Del Campo Nazca Saatchi & Saatchi have been awarded one of Argentina's most prestigious creative honours, receiving 'El Lápiz de Platino' for their "Heroes" TV spot for CTI Móvil. At the same event, held at the Hilton Hotel in Buenos Aires' fashionable Puerto Madero district, the agency was also voted 'Best Agency of the Year'.
'Heroes' which celebrates CTI's official sponsorship of the Argentinean national soccer team, was the work of art director Bruno Acanfora and copywriter Ariel Abramovici, and was directed by Armando Bo. In addition to this honour, the spot also won gold at the 2006 Argentinean EFFIEs, as well as picking up awards at other local festivals.
Competition is always tough for this well known local award, which makes this win even more notable. As agency CEO, Pablo Del Campo, says, "What makes me really happy about this award is that the people that vote belong to our industry; they are producers, clients, creatives, and that means it has to be a really good spot to win."
In the past few months, the agency also won Agency of the Year at Dossier, El Ojo de IberoAmerica Festival and the Eagle Awards.
