Seoul - Congratulations to Angie Lee on her promotion to CEO Saatchi & Saatchi Korea.
Angie started her career at Ogilvy & Mather working on big electronics giant Daewoo, covering all products from washing machines to refrigerators. After 5 years spent on big local clients, she moved on to multinational and international clients.
After O&M Angie joined Phoenix Communications, where she spent the next 7 years honing her skills on a variety of big names such as Nestle, FedEx, Pizza Hut, Bvlgari, ING Life and P&G.
Angie came to Saatchi & Saatchi Korea in 2006 as part of the team who opened the agency's doors for the first time. Over the years Angie has been instrumental in the agency's success, working on every client and rapidly moving through the ranks to take up the role as CEO. This is a real achievement for Angie, who is just as busy at home with her 2 kids as she is at work.
"Nurturing a brand is like raising a child, which is why I have such a passion for this industry," says Angie. "This new role is a totally new challenge for me, and I'm very excited about it. I've been with Saatchi & Saatchi Korea since its establishment and the same passion exists today as it did the day I started. I want to take the office from good to better, better to great. Although we are a small office, I believe we have plenty of room to grow and do great work. I'm surrounded with great people within the Korea office and all over the network so I believe it will happen soon."
Regional CEO Chris Foster said, "I've been very impressed with Angie since the first time I met her. This is a great achievement for her and I believe she will take the agency to a new level. This is yet another great story for the Saatchi & Saatchi Network to have a senior position filled by one of our own."
