Riga - The Latvian Advertising Association has announced the results of their 2007 Agencies' Reputation survey, which saw Adell Saatchi & Saatchi achieve a Top 5 ranking.
Carried out by independent research company Data Serviss, the survey asked 139 local and international clients to evaluate the strengths and weaknesses of the 14 largest creative agencies in Latvia and to give a general view on their performance.
Each agency's 'reputation rating' was calculated as an average of three components:
- Clients' evaluation of agencies performance;
- Clients' potential choice of agency (if there were no financial or legal restrictions/limitations);
- Positive and negative references about agencies provided by clients.
During the survey it was recognised that clients value the most such features as good management of work, good timing and high levels of responsibility. And, when judged on these criteria, Adell Saatchi & Saatchi was up there with the best. In fact, they received the fewest negative references from clients, while at the same time attaining one of the best ratings on the positive side.
Other agencies featured in the Top 5 highest reputation ranking - which was announced in alphabetical order - were DDB Latvia, Domino, Leo Burnett Riga and McCann-Erickson Riga.
Varis Lazo, Managing Director of Adell Saatchi & Saatchi commented, "We are extremely happy - this is really good news for us! Saatchi & Saatchi WW CEO Kevin Roberts said in his book Lovemarks: The Future Beyond Brands that reputations are 'Built over a lifetime. Destroyed in an instant.' Well, it's nice it didn't take a lifetime for us to achieve this!
"At the same time such success is more than just praise - it's a challenge for us. Now we must work even harder, never let our clients down to keep our place in Top 5 and - what's even more important - our place in people's minds and hearts. And if possible, to become a lovemark ourselves!"
