The spot covers the journey of a mysterious letter found in the rear seat of an old Toyota by its young, most recent owner.  The letter is sent back to the previous owner, who then sends to another previous owner, and so on, until it reaches its final destination at the home of the original owner. He’s an old gentleman whose upset wife hands him the letter, which, in all appearances seems to have been originated by a former lover. The message cleverly reinforces Toyota’s durability message while entertaining the audience empathically.
