Saatchi & Saatchi PR Romania Wins Gold for Diamonds

Bucharest - Saatchi & Saatchi PR has been rewarded with gold at World Luxury Award, the most important international competition dedicated to creativity for luxury brands communication. The award is a premiere in the local communication market, Saatchi & Saatchi PR being the first agency rewarded at World Luxury Award.

The gold trophy was won in the Jewellery & Watches category for the PR campaign "The Chronicler", created by the agency for Rafael & Sons, a diamond jewellery producer.

"The Chronicler" campaign aimed at avoiding the jewellery stereotypes that have at the forefront a gorgeous woman and an exuberant scenery. The campaign's idea was to let the diamonds speak.

The actress Monica Bîrlădeanu, one of the most famous stars in România, was chosen as ambassador for the diamond brand, debuting in this campaign as the new image for Rafael & Sons.

World Luxury Award is the highest distinction to acknowledge excellence in creativity for luxury brands communication, in categories like Cars & Yachts, Fashion & Style, Parfum & Cosmetics, Beverages & Food, Bank, Insurance & Credit Card, Hotels & Holidays etc. The jury consisted of representatives of the most important communication agencies worldwide: Publicis, Ogilvy, Young & Rubicam, Draftfcb, etc.

This year's winners list of World Luxury Award included Armani, Audi, BMW, Diesel, Martini, Mercedes, Montblanc, Paco Rabanne, Porsche, Yves Saint-Laurent, Waldorf Astoria.
