F/Nazca Saatchi & Saatchi & Pedro Useche Collaborate

Latest addition to the Skol Design campaign sees renowned furniture designer use create an armchair using Skol's new aluminium bottles.

Sao Paulo - After becoming a Lamp, Clock, Vase, Oil & Vinegar set and Candleholder, the new Skol aluminium bottles have now given shape to an armchair.

F/Nazca Saatchi & Saatchi invited the renowned furniture designer Pedro Useche to create a unique design utilising Skol bottles. The result is a stylish armchair, which uses cylinders of the new packaging as bearings in the seat and backrest.

For Pedro, "turning an armchair into a desirable object is not only about showing aesthetic attributes but most of all, making people feel comfortable when they sit on it". The people who sit on Skol's armchair can verify that the designer achieved his goal of form and function. By maintaining the bottles' original format without inhibiting its movement, the design ended up providing a pleasant massage sensation.
