Saatchi & Saatchi Malaysia Wins Agency of the Year

Petaling Jaya - At this year's Kancil Awards, Saatchi & Saatchi Malaysia picked up an impressive 25 awards to secure the prestigious Agency of the Year Award. Already leading the Malaysia points table with another strong performance at the major international award shows, the agency dominated the Kancil Awards, hauling in twice as many awards as the next agency.

CEO John Foley commented, "This really is a massive team effort from everyone in the agency. Edmund Choe (Creative Chairman) and Adrian Miller (ECD) have done a magnificent job building a truly world class creative team. But the way the whole agency has embraced our belief that everyone is responsible for coming up with and selling great ideas is what really lies behind our success. So I'm extremely proud of everyone in the agency. A truly inspirational team effort."

Edmund Choe said, "When Adrian joined us last year we immediately set our sights on winning awards for our major clients. On Friday night we were thrilled to achieve that by winning metal for Diageo (Guinness), Procter & Gamble, Toyota, Mead Johnson & Danone.

Adrian Miller added, "Our aim was also to ensure that our entire creative department was represented across our awards tally for the year. So it was fantastic that every creative team went up on stage on Friday night. Along with their Suits of course! But what we are most excited about is all the great work on big clients that we have either in production or soon to be briefed."

John Foley agreed. "It was great for the whole agency to have a big celebration on Friday night. But as we said to everyone on Monday morning, 'This is only the beginning'. We still have a lot of work to do to realize this agency's real potential!"
