Top Management Changes at MUW Saatchi & Saatchi

Bratislava - In November 2012 MUW Saatchi & Saatchi will attain the first 20 years of its existence. Moreover, several changes make this year special in the life of the agency. The first of them are brought to life as of 1 April 2012.

Our advertising agency introduces a new top management set up. As of April MUW Saatchi & Saatchi partners take charge of newly defined competences.

Rasťo Uličný, former Chief Creative Officer, takes up the position of CEO. As the agency's top representative he will develop the cooperation with key business partners and will also be in charge of agency's PR and of HR development. With his partners he defines the long term vision and strategy of MUW Saatchi & Saatchi.

Robert Weber, long time Strategy Director is appointed Chief Operating Officer. His domain is agency's business operations, finance management in conjunction with Finance Director Peter Oswald, and obviously strategy planning.

Third partner Rasťo Michalik remains as Chief Creative Officer responsible for agency's key product - ideas, creativity and innovation.

The current changes relate also to the departure of Ivan Hulik, who led the agency as Managing Director from 2007. He embraces the opportunity to become partners with Juraj Janiš in his film production company Hitchhiker Films. After 7 years with MUW Saatchi & Saatchi, Ivan declared: "This is the best agency I have ever worked in - and I have the strong feeling it is also my last. This is where I learned the most, this is where I lived the most and also where I met the most inspirational people - in the agency and at clients. I thank them all. With MUW S&S I went a long way and I experienced my so far biggest professional success. After 15 years of agency work, I set off for a new journey where I hope there is still a lot for me to discover."

All management members assess the change positively and consider it a new start with the best of prospects. CEO Rasťo Uličný sums up the mood and expectations of all the partners: "My new position is a great personal challenge, but I see it as a natural accomplishment of my 16 year long journey in our agency. Among the three of us I probably experience the biggest change - I spent all my professional life creating and judging ideas. Now I entrust this work to the best hands - to Rasťo Michalik. Exceptional creativity makes marketing communications more effective and it has always been our domain. Rasťo and his three creative team leaders are the best guarantee of creative quality for us and for our clients.
