“We felt the best way to showcase this in the most vivid way possible was through photos and videos on Instagram. The account, @TheSaatchiLife, shows how we keep it real every day (a great bunch of real people working hard and playing hard).
We encouraged interested applicants to follow our Instagram account and asked them to create an Instagram video that creatively represents themselves and tell us why they think they are a good fit for our agency and hashtag it #LoveTheSaatchiLife.
The idea of showing students a slice of life at Saatchi & Saatchi also extended to the booth at the Career Fair. We brought throw cushions, plants and our cosiest furniture from our office to recreate the look and feel of the agency at the fair. Our friendly team also made a big effort to ensure students felt right at home with us.
Overall, our booth was a big hit. Our set up allowed us to engage a steady flow of students throughout the night in a relaxed and comfortable environment amidst the hustle and bustle of the Career Fair and have real conversations with those who were truly interested in advertising and Saatchi & Saatchi in particular.
The team had a lot of fun with this project and speaking with potential applicants. We can’t wait for the next one!”
