​Komal, who has more than twenty-five years’ experience in varied geographical and cultural markets, was the first woman ECD in the Middle East. A hands-on award-winning creative, Komal leads from the front: in building relationships with diverse clients; in raising the bar and empowering multicultural creative departments; in articulating and implementing across the board the client’s vision and goals. 
 
​During her time, Saatchi & Saatchi Dubai broke into the Top 5 Agency Rankings in the region after winning several local and international awards. Key new business wins include Emirates Lotto (the world’s first sharia-compliant lottery), Dubai Tourism, Huawei, National Geographic, and PepsiCo (AMESA region). Along with these clients, she also works closely on the agency’s major regional clients like Cadillac, Nivea and Mondelez. 
 
​She has led teams that have won metal at all major award shows: Cannes Lions, One Show, D&AD, ANDYs, ADC, Clio, LIA, Effie, WARC, and SXSW. Her campaign for Harvey Nichols was ranked the #2 press campaign in the world. And the Big Won ranked her #2 in the list of Top Art Directors in the world. She has served as jury president for art direction at D&AD and as a jury member at Cannes Lions, Art Directors Club, Clio, Adfest, and New York Festivals. 
 
​Komal is a Leica aficionado and travels the world capturing real moments in her photography. In 2019 she co-published her first poetography book titled “DreamKeeper” and ensemble of poetry and photography. She works on issues concerning health, literacy, skill building for the underprivileged in India. Her sincere involvement with people and awareness of the world around her find expression in her photographs and sketches. Passionate about inclusivity she conceived and launched “MOMAS” a dedicated platform for working mothers in advertising and marketing. She believes in a world where women can. And will.
