Jakarta - PT. Takeda Indonesia has recently awarded its US$500,000 business to Saatchi & Saatchi and ZenithOptimedia Indonesia. PT. Takeda Indonesia is a Japanese pharmaceutical company, producer of Vitacimin sweetlets, a leader in the vitamin C category. The brand was previously handled for many years by Dentsu, and this was their first pitch.
"The market is constantly changing and Takeda felt the need to adapt. It's not an easy decision for them. We really appreciate their trust, it's a courageous business shift", says Dini D. Makmun, CEO of Saatchi & Saatchi Indonesia.
Takeda visited a few multinational agencies but, in a very focused approach, decided to invite only the incumbent agency and Saatchi & Saatchi to pitch.
The Indonesian vitamin C market offers a huge business potential for Vitacimin, and the new partnership is expected to take full advantage of this.
