Auckland - Saatchi & Saatchi New Zealand has capped off a spectacular award-winning year for both creativity and effectiveness by taking Asia-Australasia's most prestigious prize - AWARD Agency of the Year.
The New Zealand office also collected 16 awards across multiple disciplines at the AWARD event in Sydney last Friday night. And that, along with excellent performances from the Saatchi & Saatchi offices in Singapore and Australia, made the Saatchi & Saatchi Network the AWARD Network of the Year for the third year in a row.
Saatchi & Saatchi New Zealand's award winners included creative for TVNZ, NZ Army, Wellington Zoo, Women's Refuge and DB Breweries (Sol and Tiger beers), in categories from TVC, print, outdoor and online advertising through to DM, integrated campaigns, ambient and mobile marketing.
NZ Executive Creative Director Mike O'Sullivan says the agency is delighted with its strong showing. "It's a tremendous result across lots of different disciplines and really reflects our continued push into building strong integrated creative teams which can successfully tackle all types of creative challenge," he says.
Saatchi & Saatchi Singapore's 5 Silvers and 8 Bronze awards came for AWARE (Domestic Violence), EUT Marketing's Wonderbra, Silverfish books and Republic of Singapore Navy, while Saatchi & Saatchi Australia won for Foxtel and Sony. Other winners from the Network were the Paris (Suez) and New York (JCPenney) offices.
