Prague - New Semtex Cactus will
bee-witch everyone. So we at Saatchi & Saatchi chose a crazy turbo
bumblebee who sucks the nectar out of flowers while wearing motorcycle goggles
as the “character” for communications for the new limited edition energy drink
with an explosive flavor.
The nectar charges
up the bumblebee’s energy so much that he does crazy loop-the-loops through the
air around the cactus, and finally crashes into it, which bursts to reveal a
can of Semtex Cactus. Satisfied, albeit a bit confused, the bumblebee flies
away.
The spring campaign,
which started on June 3, 2014, consists of a 15“ TV spot, sponsoring spots, and
billboards.
