Saatchi & Saatchi, one of the world’s premier advertising agency networks, proudly announced that Saatchi & Saatchi Los Angeles, Saatchi & Saatchi New York and Team One all received a perfect score of 100 percent on the 2016 Corporate Equality Index (CEI), a national benchmarking survey and report on corporate policies and practices related to LGBT workplace equality, administered by the Human Rights Campaign Foundation. The three agencies join the ranks of 407 major US businesses that also earned top marks this year.
“We are honoured to be added to the HRC equality index and proud to serve as yet another face of equality in the workplace,” stated Saatchi & Saatchi’s Executive Director of Talent, Kirk Guthrie. “Diversity, inclusion, and a genuine belief in equality are core to who we are and a valuable part of what drives great creative work for our clients.”
The 2016 CEI rated 1,027 businesses in the report, which evaluates LGBT related policies and practices including non-discrimination workplace protections, domestic partner benefits, transgender-inclusive health care benefits, competency programs, and public engagement with the LGBT community. Saatchi & Saatchi’s efforts in satisfying all of the CEI’s criteria results in a 100 percent ranking and the designation as a Best Place to Work for LGBT equality.
“In this 2016 Corporate Equality Index, hundreds of major businesses responded to our new standards for workplace equality with exceptional leadership. Saatchi & Saatchi North America not only meets these standards, it goes above and beyond the call of duty, making commitment to equality a fundamental aspect of its corporate values," said HRC Foundation Workplace Equality Program Director, Deena Fidas.
