London - Andy Gulliman, formerly head of TV at Saatchi & Saatchi London, was today promoted to executive broadcast director with a remit across the group of companies including Gum @ Saatchi, Team Saatchi, Saatchi & Saatchi X and Saatchi Interactive.
Gulliman will work closely with executive creative director Kate Stanners to champion end-to-end creativity with involvement at all stages in the planning and development of campaigns.
Stanners said: "Andy's expertise in production has become increasingly important to the early stage development of campaigns as well as the end result. His wealth of experience combined with his energy and passion for creativity make him a great asset to the agency."
Stanners continued: "Andy will apply his knowledge and experience of TV production to today's mass of broadcast formats working with creatives across the main agency and our specialist divisions."
Gulliman said: "The producer's role has always been to realise a creative's vision brilliantly and of course at great value for money for the client. For me, the opportunity to get involved and provide direction at an early stage in the creative process will mean better results by exploiting all broadcast formats to give cost-effective results that benefits our clients."
Gulliman will report into the chairman and CEO once in post.
Gulliman joined the agency in October 2003. He is one of the most respected producers in the industry with multi-award-winning campaigns such as Levi's "Twist", Levi's "Odyssey" and Xbox "Champagne" and "Mosquito" under his belt.
He made his name during a stint at BBH and previously at AMV BBDO where he worked on clients including Wrangler and Mars.
