London - Saatchi & Saatchi has hired Charity Charity as global creative director on Head & Shoulders.
Charity joins from EuroRSCG where she was global creative director responsible for Dettol, Finish, Mortein and Veet brands for Reckitt Benckiser. She joined EuroRSCG in February 2007.
Prior to EuroRSCG Charity was executive worldwide creative director at JWT for seven years. During her time at JWT Charity worked on a host of Unilever brands including Persil, Timotei and Sunsilk and scooped the Cannes TV Silver Award for Poliflor in 2005. She launched the UK Dirt is Good campaign in 2005 and the global Talking Puppy campaign for Andrex in 2003.
At JWT, Charity also served as UK creative director, launching the Red Dress campaign for Kellogg's Special K in 1997 and the launch of Crunchy Nutters in 2002 for Kellogg's Crunchy Nut Cornflakes.

During her career Charity has also won Cannes TV Gold for Persil 1986 and TV Silver for Pepsico in 1984, D&AD Press in 1995 and D&AD Poster 1995 for The Shakespeare Globe Theatre, Best 40 Second TV for Persil in 1987, British TV Video Award for Pepsico in 1984, Creative Circle Best Use of Humour for Harmony Hair Colours in 1985, BAFTA Best Use of Personality for BT 1992.
Before entering the marketing industry, Charity was a writer for Asia Magazine and The Times winning the Sunday Telegraph Travel Writer of the Year in 1980.
Charity Charity takes up the post on Monday, 4th February, 2008 and will be based at the 80 Charlotte Street offices in London.
