London - Saatchi & Saatchi X London won the prestigious Agency of the Year Award at last week’s annual MCCA Best Awards. The leading shopper marketing agency also celebrated one of the biggest hauls of the evening, winning a total of four Merits and five Best Awards.
As the top names from the marketing industry gathered to celebrate the most impressive work of 2009, Saatchi & Saatchi X won Best Communications Campaign featuring Sales Promotion, Best Planning for a Communications Campaign, Best and Most Effective Long-term Marketing Communications Campaign and Best Development of Agency Talent.
The MCCA Best Awards are designed to recognise creativity, innovation and execution across all marketing disciplines in addition to the best examples of professional development. The awards promise to celebrate only ‘The Best’ creative work, focusing on the message: “Creativity uninhibited delivers results.”
This record breaking success for Saatchi & Saatchi X London comes on the back of its U.S. Office in Fayetteville sweeping the board at the American Advertising Federation’s ADDY Awards with 20 Gold and Silver medals, including the award for best in show for the second year running. The AAF is the oldest national advertising trade association, representing 40,000 professionals in the advertising industry with 200 ad clubs across the United States.
