Johannesburg - Saatchi & Saatchi South Africa took home three Golds and one Bronze in South Africa's premier advertising festival awards - The 2007 Loerie Awards.
The Loerie awards are the industry's highest accolade and 2007 saw them receive a record number of entries, with the elite Loerie's judging panel - comprising over 100 industry specialists - awarding Gold to just 28 deserving winners.
Saatchi & Saatchi Group Executive Creative Director Mick Blore says he was especially pleased by the spread of awards across categories: "Two were in interactive, one in outdoor and one in ambient - proving that we deliver integrated solutions across different media for our clients."
Saatchi & Saatchi's Gold awards came for Two Oceans Aquarium in the Ambient category and the Volunteer Wildfire Services in Outdoor (poster), while their work for Peugeot earned a Gold and a Bronze in the interactive category.
