Dubai - Saatchi & Saatchi Dubai today announced the appointments of Marc Lineveldt as Regional Creative Director and Ben Roberts as Regional Human Interest (HI) Director, Middle East, North Africa (MENA).
Lineveldt (pictured) joins Saatchi & Saatchi today from Fortune Promoseven (FP7) Dubai, where he has been Executive Creative Director for the past three years. Prior to his role at FP7, Lineveldt has held the Creative Director position at Team Y&R, Dubai; Ogilvy, Cape Town and TBWA Hunt Lascaris, Capetown.
An extensively awarded creative, Lineveldt’s accolades include trophies at Cannes, D&AD, Clio, One Show, Epica, Loeries, Dubai Lynx and Mena Cristal. Lineveldt will also continue to serve as Chairman of the Creative Club in Dubai, a group established to give a united voice to the region’s creatives and raise creative standards.

Ben Roberts takes up his new role in Dubai today from Saatchi & Saatchi’s London Agency, where he has worked for the past five years, most recently as Talent Director for Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA). His new role will see him working alongside Ashkar on strategic talent issues across the MENA region.
Roberts began his career as an Account Manager for Saatchi & Saatchi New Zealand. He has also held positions at Interbrand in Paris, a leading international brand consultancy. A dual citizen of New Zealand and the United Kingdom, Roberts has also spent five years living in the Middle East.
Ashkar said: “Ben’s appointment as our new HI Director underlines our commitment to building a team of the highest calibre as we strengthen our resources and capabilities across the MENA region. Indeed, both Ben and Marc are exceptionally talented individuals themselves, a testament to this policy.”
