Saatchi & Saatchi Germany Storms the Creative Rankings

6th place for Saatchi & Saatchi in both Horizont and Handelsblatt/W&V's year-end rankings.

Frankfurt - The good news for Saatchi & Saatchi Germany has no end: in the industry-relevant creative rankings of both daily German newspaper Handelsblatt, analysed in cooperation with publication W&V, and the advertising magazine HORIZONT, Saatchi & Saatchi finished in sixth place.

The main reason for the good performance are numerous national and international awards, which Saatchi & Saatchi won for clients such as Toyota, the World Water Day of the UN, the Senckenberg Museum and Diakonie Frankfurt. The long-term Saatchi & Saatchi client Diakonie Frankfurt even reached second place in the ‘most creative advertisers’ ranking of HORIZONT magazine: the show stopper was the campaign ‘Days of Hope', in which homeless people presented the weather on TV. In the ‘client ranking’ of Handelsblatt/W&V Diakonie Frankfurt went one better in taking first place – 148 points ahead of second-placed BUND.

Additionally, Saatchi & Saatchi achieved tenth place in the Handelsblatt/W&V index for the ‘most efficient agencies in Germany'. More proof of Saatchi & Saatchi’s profound knowledge of how to implement the core factors of good communication in a goal and customer oriented way.

"Creativity and experience for how to create ideas with value is an elemental part of Saatchi & Saatchi’s DNA. Thanks to our Tribe creative process we will keep helping our customers creating outstanding communication," says Christian Rätsch, CEO of Saatchi & Saatchi Germany.

In this respect, a silver GWA Effie has been won in 2013 for Toyota’s ‘Hybrid Summer' campaign, incorporating the two crime scene detectives Jan-Josef Liefers and Axel Prahl.

The team also has high expectations for 2014: "After the team in Düsseldorf won a bronze ADC nail and a silver Effie with our Toyota hybrid campaign this year, we are now aiming for ‘Cannes Lion’ for Toyota in 2014," says Alexander Reiss, Executive Creative Director of Saatchi & Saatchi Dusseldorf.

And the excellent placings in the creative rankings of the ADC (5th place) and the manager magazin (7th place) also prove that Saatchi & Saatchi is one of the most creative agencies in Germany.

But the strongest proof of the creative power of the agency is still the economic success. Saatchi & Saatchi was also able to convince on this level with several large client wins in 2013. "With the pitch successes for CosmosDirekt, Union Investment, Lotto Hessen, Fissler and more renowned clients, we achieved exemplary results for the agency," added Jorg Riommi, Executive Creative Director in Frankfurt and Berlin.
