Marketing’s Agency of the Year awards serve as Hong Kong’s leading barometer for agency performance across key marketing disciplines. The judging panel made up of senior client marketers gives a thorough evaluation of agency performance over the past year. Saatchi & Saatchi Hong Kong’s success is attributed to its transformation into a strategic gateway and convergence hub,the agency works with Chinese brands looking to make their mark on the world map, as well as international brands seeking to gain ground in China. In 2014, Saatchi & Saatchi won many new business such as Sands, HSBC, Swire Properties and Huawei, retained 83% of incumbent clients with sizeable organic growth and continued to invest in its digital talent and capability. And “Bark You Up at 6:45 – Leave work early for a greener world,” the agency's ongoing year-round program, advocated environmental- and staff-friendliness, eliciting a bubbly response from both employees and the industry. This is Saatchi & Saatchi Hong Kong’s second AOY award after being named Hong Kong Creative Agency of the Year (Gold) by Campaign Asia in 2014.

Now in its 14th year, the Asia awards signify a closer alignment with the global PRWeek brand and its award programmes in the US and the UK. In 2014, Saatchi & Saatchi Hong Kong introduced an “Instant Newspaper Recycler” for Sun Hung Kai Properties to show shoppers that making the world a better place is both easy and fun. At the heart of the campaign was a special machine that could turn old newspapers into beautiful, unique and themed wrapping paper in a matter of seconds (for more details, see The campaign made a real impact on the environment, attracting the participation of hundreds of shoppers and giving away hundreds of wrapping paper sets.
