Richard Hytner
Richard, an MA and LL.M in Law from Cambridge University, is Deputy Chairman of Saatchi & Saatchi.
He is responsible for strategy at Saatchi & Saatchi and for its programme of continuous transformation, working with our leadership teams across the world to accelerate transformational performance as well as Lovemarks Company practices.
Richard joined Saatchi & Saatchi in 2003 as Chairman & CEO for Europe, Middle East and Africa, having graduated as a Sloan Fellow from London Business School. Prior to that, Richard had been UK CEO & Chairman of Publicis and Chairman of The Henley Centre.
He was appointed an Executive Fellow of the London Business School in August 2007 and has recently been re-appointed for a further two academic years. He speaks to Clients, conferences and business schools around the world on Lovemarks, Creativity, leading strategic transformation, and corporate strategy.
Richard’s love for Manchester United led him to co-found Shareholders United Against Murdoch when BSkyB attempted to buy the club. Now called the Manchester United Supporters’ Trust, the organisation continues to campaign for, facilitate and secure supporter ownership of the club.
Beyond football and family, Richard is a literature, theatre and film fanatic.
