Mike McKay
Mike was appointed Executive Creative Director of Saatchi & Saatchi LA in November 2008. As the agency’s top creative, Mike leads the Toyota business and plays a vital role in new business efforts.
Mike began his career at TBWA/Chiat/Day in Los Angeles. He joined Saatchi & Saatchi from Goodby Silverstein & Partners, where he had been since 2001.
Mike’s diverse brand experience includes Apple, Nissan, Infiniti, Sony Playstation, Comcast, HP, Isuzu, Budweiser, Haagen Daaz and Saturn, among others. Mike has been with Goodby Silverstein & Partners since 2001.
Mike’s “The Computer is Personal Again” integrated global campaign for HP was named U.S. Campaign of the Year by Advertising Age in 2007 and awarded a coveted Gold Effie. He also worked on the highly awarded Comcast campaign.
Mike is one of the rare “hybrid” creatives equally adept in traditional and in digital marketing.
In his spare time Mike enjoys spending time with his two young sons snowboarding, surfing, and playing basketball. His most recent passion involved building a 1924 Craftsman home from scratch.
