Regional Creative Director, Asia Pacific

Andy is the Number 1 Creative Director in Asia according to the Campaign Brief Asia Rankings. He has held this position 5 times in the last 8 years.

He joined Saatchi & Saatchi in December 2004 as Regional Creative Director for South East Asia, based in Bangkok, and has spearheaded the company’s domination in local, regional and international creative award shows.

In 2008, he took on the role of Chief Creative Officer for Asia Pacific.

He strongly believes to succeed in advertising you need to find inspiration outside the field. He himself paints, writes books, writes screenplays, creates comedy for the Internet and produces rich content for mobile phones.

In 1997, he held an art exhibition in Lan Kwai Fong, in the heart of Hong Kong. The theme of the show was the “Art of Glooism” a unique style of painting that included copious amounts of latex glue. The exhibition was a roaring success and Andy earned enough money to pay his outstanding tax bill, which was 2 years overdue.

In 2003 he left advertising temporarily to start up a mobile content company which, to this day, sells premium content around the world. He also writes comic strips based on a character he developed called Zorkman.

As a copywriter, he has found recognition at the most prestigious advertising awards shows around the world. He is famous for his creative leadership and business pragmatism.
