James Brown Music Video Challenge: winning film to be shown at BUG at London’s BFI Southbank and prize money increased

The deadline for the James Brown Music Video Challenge has been extended to 16th July. Filmmakers are invited to create a music video for one of 4 iconic James Brown tracks; Sex Machine, Papa's Got a Brand New Bag, It's a Man's, Man's, Man's World, and Try Me.
The winning promo will be shown at BUG at the BFI Southbank on 30th August, and its director will be given the opportunity to work on a project at a key office in the Saatchi & Saatchi global network. Genero.tv and Universal Music have increased the prize money for the director of the winning film for each track to $4,000.
The challenge is collaboration between Saatchi & Saatchi, Genero.tv, BUG Music Videos and Universal Music Enterprises (Ume), aimed at discovering fresh filmmaking talent, and presenting iconic tracks by music legend James Brown to a new generation.
Judging the winner will be directors from this year's New Directors' Showcase, members of the Saatchi & Saatchi Worldwide Creative Board, Genero.tv, BUG and Universal Music.
Winner to be announced on 30thJuly.
