Chris leads a team of 1,000 people in Saatchi & Saatchi in Asia Pacific (excluding China), covering one third of the world’s population and spanning 17 offices in 14 countries - India, Indonesia, Pakistan, Japan, Philippines, Vietnam, Thailand, Korea, Malaysia, Taiwan ROC, Australia, Sri Lanka, Singapore, and New Zealand.
He is an experienced leader in Asia, having spent the period 1999-2008 with Saatchi & Saatchi as CEO of Japan and Korea and as Global Equity Director for Procter & Gamble, the agency’s longest-served client. He led a team of more than 400 and oversaw the P&G laundry and home care business globally, including brands such as Ariel, Cascade, Dash, Ajax, and the $3 billion flagship brand, Tide. Chris continued this role from the New York headquarters of Saatchi & Saatchi before being appointed in 2008 CEO of Publicis Groupe agency Fallon in Minneapolis.
As leader of Fallon’s US operations, Chris directed a highly accomplished business and creative turnaround of the company, growing revenue by 75% in three years and increasing staff by 50% - all during a time of economic crisis. Chris has his team firmly re-established Fallon as an A-List creative agency with new clients wins including Cadillac and H&R Block.
Chris graduated BA in Economics and Philosophy from University of Western Ontario and started his advertising career in Toronto at Leo Burnett, FCB, and Bozell Worldwide. He is married with three children, and is based in Singapore.
