Tui 'Beer Plumber' Achieves D&AD 'In Book' Status

Saatchi & Saatchi New Zealand’s winning streak continues at D&AD, after Award and Yahoo Digital Strategy Awards.

Auckland - Saatchi & Saatchi New Zealand has been recognised with a prestigious ‘In Book’ at the D&AD awards in London for DB Breweries, TUI ‘Beer Plumber’ in the Integrated & Earned Media category. 

The work will appear in D&AD’s 52nd Annual, published by TASCHEN in September. Winners of the much-coveted ‘Yellow Pencil’ will be announced on 22 May. 

The accolade follows further success at AWARD last week in Sydney, where Saatchi & Saatchi New Zealand picked up Silver for Toyota Corolla ‘Feels Good Inside’ and Bronze and Silver for TUI ‘Beer Plumber’ in Film and Video. In Digital, ‘Beer Plumber’ also won Bronze for online/shared film. 

The agency’s production partners were also awarded for their work with Saatchi & Saatchi on Toyota ‘Feels Good Inside’ and Telecom ‘Waiting is Over’. Full results listed below. 

Earlier this month ‘Beer Plumber’ delivered top digital honours for PHDiQ in the 2013 Yahoo! New Zealand Digital Strategy Awards, collecting the Grand Prix. 

ASB ‘Like Loan’ was also recognised with Gold and Silver digital gongs at the Direct Marketing Awards in February. 

These accolades follow Saatchi & Saatchi’s host of awards at AXIS, where they won 3 Golds, 2 Silvers and 5 Bronzes for TUI, ASB and L&P.
