Prague - Saatchi & Saatchi Prague's ‘Golden Zone Visa' campaign, which ran throughout November and December 2010, gave participants the opportunity to win hundreds great prizes by entering The Golden Zone.
To win one of the prizes Visa card users had to register payments they had made during the contest period. If their registrations were among the first seven registered transactions exactly after midday of each day, they won a daily prize - a voucher worth of 500 CZK. The major prize, a cash amount of 200,000 CZK, 100,000 CZK or 50,000 CZK, was won by contestants with the closest answers to the competition question.
The main goal of the campaign was to encourage participants to pay with their Visa card and subsequently register the payments.
The main communication channels included press, radio, OOH and online media. Along with this rich media mix there have been 4 rounds of sms reminders sent to participants. The campaign was also promoted through the websites of participating banks that were also responsible for sending eDM to their clients.
Thanks to the use of various communication channels, there were a record number of transactions registered throughout the contest period - 200% up on previous Visa campaigns - as well as almost twice as many unique participants.
